Requesting Nominations

Hello all!  So, when most of you filled out my survey, you expressed an interest in my idea of presenting you with a song. Sung by me. I am still considering this, but in the meantime you might choose to help my consideration a little.

I'm looking for song nominations.  Pick any song you like... as many nominations as you like. Next week I will go through and weed out any songs I can't or am not willing to sing.  Then I will ask for Secondings.  Haha.

So for now... go crazy. ...well not really.

Oh, yay! :D Let me think of some songs I like (and I think YOU like...after all, if you're to sing it, you'll have to like it, hehe).
"A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes". :D I love that song, and it's quite easy to sing, IMO. :)
"I Could Have Danced All Night" from My Fair Lady... :D (That's a fun one!!)
Um.....I've got a mind blank. >:/ "When Will My Life Begin" from Tangled, haha. ;D (Maybe that's a weird choice, but *I* like singing it, hehe.)
Oh, "Beauty and the Beast!" I LOOOOVE that song!!
Okay, I better hush up now. (I could think of heaps more, but I better not overwhelm you. Hehe.)

2. Slumber dear Maid - Handel (COULDN'T RESIST.)
3. We'll Meet Again - Vera Lynn (Anything Vera Lynn. :-D)
4. I have Confidence - Sound of Music
5. Awww wouldn't it be loverly - My Fair Lady
(I was going to add 'Watch what happens' (from Newsies) on this list, buuuut.)

I request 'Hopelessly Devoted to You' from Grease.

HAHAHAHA. That was a joke. (I seem to remember hearing you had a very amusing version of it, though...) ;-P

Do you know any songs from Jekyll and Hyde? Because 'Once Upon a Dream' is my absolute faaaaavorite.

I request "Scarborough Fair"(Parsley Sage Rosemary and Thyme) song by many but my favorite artist rendition is Celtic Woman. Or "Once Upon a December" from Anastasia. Can't wait to hear you sing, if you decide that is what you want to do.
Blessings,
Lexi

What a cool idea! I love music, so this is going to be fun :-)

Okay, sooooooooooo . . . here are my ideas/requests:
1. "The Rose of Tralee" (traditional Irish song)
2. "Suddenly" (from the Les Mis movie)
3. "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"
4. "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes"
5. "God Help the Outcasts" (Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame)
6. "Raglan Road" (traditional Irish)

That's all I can think of for the moment :-)

What kind of voice do you have? That'll determine my nominations.

Naomi,
Haha, I can actually tolerate that song, but I don't think I could actually sing it when I'm not that well acquainted with it! ;) (Watch What Happens, that is.)

Emma,
HAHAHAHAHA. ;D I don't know any songs from that but I am open to learning a new one if I like it! If any of you want to link to songs as examples, you can totally do that.

Katelyn,
Quite a melodious one!
...haha, I couldn't resist.
I can be either mezzo-soprano or soprano. I actually have a pretty wide range... and right in the middle is probably where I sing best. ;)

Oh I have so many so prepare yourself for a lot. . .
1.) In the Bleak Midwinter (I know it's a Christmas song, but I love it to bits every time of the year. Sissel does a gorgeous arrangement that gets me every time.)
2.) (and three, I guess?) Savior, Redeemer of My Soul or My Kindness Shall Not Depart From Thee by Rob Gardner!
4.) Not While I'm Around (don't look up the musical it's from because it's Very Weird and Icky, but the song is beautiful! Barbara Streisand sings a really nice version)
5.) and 6.) Home or A Change in Me, both from Beauty and the Beast.
7.) Hold On from the Secret Garden musical (only you needn't bother about the accent if you don't like. I prefer the Mormon Tabernacle Choir version without the accent anyhow and it's just as good, maybe better in my opinion)
8.) Anything at all from Jane Eyre although a lot of them are hard to do as solos. I love Brave Enough for Love but that's not really a solo . . . Hmmmm . . . Oh well.
9.) Small Enough by Nicole Nordeman
I have lots more, but I'll restrain myself so as not to be too ridiculous. Thanks for letting us leave some suggestions! :) I'm excited to hear whatever you decide to do. I'm certain it will be lovely and fantastic <3

YAY! I really hope you do a song video.
Here are some of my ideas...
1) Anything of Christine's from Phantom of the Opera
2) A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes
3) Anything of Cinderella's from the Broadway Cinderella
4) "Weep you No More Sad Fountains" from S&S

I can't wait to hear what you sing if you do it! :)

Do I Won't Say I'm In Love from Hercules. Somebody pocket dialed me one time and sang that and I've been quite fond of it ever since. :D

Would you rather hear the story...
