It's that time again...

Happy third anniversary to meeee!  Er, to this blog.  Something.

Here I made that nice header for Christmas and then only posted once-- talking about the header & design. :P  What can I say... it was an extremely busy month.  If not the busiest month I've ever experienced... definitely right up there, especially when it comes to personal busyness (that is, not just that of my family, haha).  Why, you might all wonder?  Well, I had a job.  Have, sort of, but it will be ending this week-- a seasonal position. It was at a local shipping retail store... worked more with boxes than mail itself, but don't think that didn't stop me from pretending to be Laura Timmins. ;)

Anyways, moving on.  This year in blogging has been quite amazing for me... that is mainly because of The Event Which Occurred In July, and if you do not know what that was, you have not been reading my blog for very long.  Other than that, though... I really haven't posted very much, and for that I am sorry.  I do hope to do better this year, but I said that last year and... heh.  ANYWAYS.

So, stats. Because I like those. ;)

Statistics as of now...
Followers: 186
Total pageviews: 104,385
Number of posts: 186 (not counting this one)

Ha, lookee there, a follower for every post!  How awfully funny.  So I got 59 followers (about the same as my first blogging year, haha).  I don't really care about calculating the pageviews...

My three most popular posts as of now...
Keep Calm and Love Jane Austen: A Guest Post by Miss Dashwood (3025 pageviews) {Ha, go figure, Amy... just go figure... ;P}
Jane Austen's Heroes (2147 pageviews)

Guest posts...
Sisters and Jane Austen (with Amy) at Elegance of Fashion

Blog events...
I thiiink none, although there are always things I do/help do over at The P&P95Forever Club. ;)

Thank you to all my dear, faithful followers who still stick with me despite my lack of posts, and leave delightful and long comments whenever I DO post. ;)

I usually make a new header for the new year/new blogging year, but... I like my old one.  So here it is again. ;) The background is sort of temporary until I find something I really want... short on time right now!

Happy 2014, everyone!

Rather horrid that the Wicked Willoughby is in your anniversary picture, *I* think... but it's still a purty shot. Heehee. I adore Marianne's outfit in that scene...

What on earth am I rambling on about THEM for? HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, DEARLING! *insert lots of slogginess about how grateful I am for the wonder of blogging and how I wouldn't have known you otherwise*

A follower for every post, how diverting! I'm almost there-- thought it would be quite a fun coincidence too. :D

*goes and figures* Have I done it satisfactorily?

:P

Love youuuuuuu and here's to a bright new year! :D

Happy third anniversary Melody!
I love your little story about being Laura Timmins, it sounds like something I would do. :)
I quite enjoy your blog and always love seeing new posts (no matter how far and between they are, and I know how that is, I can be bad about that too!)

Happy Third Anniversary!!! Haha, that's funny about Laura Timmins. I JUST started watching Lark Rise, so it's funny that you should reference her.
Congratulations, Melody!!

Mousie,
Haha, yes, I know... but I wanted an S&S95 picture and that one was sooo preeeetty. :P And worked well for putting Words on it, haha.
Hahaha, you made me laugh with the figuring. ;)
Love you tooo and insert slogginess in return. ;)

Miss Jane Bennet,
Thank you! :D You and I must collaborate on something this year, think you not? :D

Molly,
Thanks! :)

Maddie Rose,
Haha! Yep. And never mind fax machines-- that is a telegraphic instrument. ;D

Natalie,
Are you enjoying Lark Rise? It's one of my favorite shows, and I like it better as it goes along. :)

Natalie said...

Melody-
Yes, I am enjoying it VERY much! My mom and I are watching it together-we watch all our period dramas together:)- and we're both loving it. We just finished season 1 and I'm going to pick up season 2 from the library soon! So excited for that!
Don't tell me the outcome, but I'm hoping Laura ends up with Alf. Philip was just NOT right for her. Do you think so?

Melody said...

Natalie,
Hahaha... I don't like Phillip. He's irritation personified. :P

Melody,
You said it! :D Have you read the books Lark Rise is based on? If so, how were they?

Melody~ I'd love to collaborate on something with you this year! =) Perhaps something JA-themed? ;)

Melody said...

Natalie,
No, I haven't read the books yet...

Miss Jane,
Well, of course! It must be JA! :D
