A lot of bloggers do occasional "ask me anything" posts, usually when they are out of other ideas, haha. Instead of posting and asking for questions, I'm just going to keep up an ongoing option here, so any time you think of something you want me to answer, you can submit as many questions as you like! Please click on this link to submit.
If you want to contact me for any reason, you can use the same link to send me a little message; just let me know that's what you're doing, and leave an email so I can write you back.

I do have a question...
So, obviously, you are a Jane Austen fan--obviously--But are you an L. M. Montgomery fan? Have you read the books (seeing the movies doesn't count; most of them aren't good)?
I am an avid L. M. Montgomery admirer. :)
Did you want me to answer that now or save it for a post? ;)
Oh, I just meant it as a question, not as a post request. But whatever you like, of course. :)
I might not call myself an L M Montgomery fan, but definitely an admirer. Although I must protest at you saying most of the movies aren't good! I grew up on Anne of Green Gables and The Sequel. They were my favorite movies of all time before my introduction to Jane Austen. :) (As for the sequels and the Emily of New Moon show and all that I am inclined to agree with you. But I do love the TV Series Road to Avonlea, even if it is just more inspired by her books than based on any. It's gorgeous and one of my favorites.)
As for the books, I have read... let me see... up to Anne of Ingleside in the Anne series and about half of The Story Girl. She is another author whom I am ashamed to not have read more of! I do intend to, though. ;) I have liked what I did read a great deal. LM Montgomery has a certain charm that I haven't found in any other books, and like Jane Austen, she has a talent for making her funny characters very true to life. ;)
I do agree that the first "Anne of Green Gables" movie is good, and I have seen the Sequel several times and I used to love it...
Well, anyway, I was just curious. Thanks! Read more of her books! I've read all of her ~20 novels, and a couple are the very best books I've ever read...with Jane Austen's following as a very close second. :)
Just wanted to inform you that you have been nominated for the Daily Quote Challenge, click the link below for details
When are you going to sing for us? :)
Soon, Anonymous, very soon! They're recorded, I just have to do the sound mixing. (Haha... "just." :P)
Hi Melody. Love your blog. I am halfway through reading Northanger Abbey and I cannot put the book down! Mel xxx
Hi! I know this is an old blog so not sure if its still active at all, but I'm currently writing an essay about multiple Emma adaptations and looking at 1996's costume historical accuracy. I'd love to know what anyone thinks, if anyone sees this before I hand my essay in!
