Thank you for taking the quiz! I tried to set up the questions at random so one can't figure out which answer goes with which character by looking at the letters.
Hello Melody, I can't remember if I answered you on this one. It's kind of both A and B. I'm detailed oriented at work though so I will go with b.
ReplyDeleteI didn't get a comment from you before this. ;-)
ReplyDeleteOkay, if b, then your result is Mrs. Isabella Knightley. However, if you wish to look at it as a tie, then you are half Emma Wooodhouse and half Isabella! ;-) Well, they are sisters, after all.

Jane,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to find another Emma admirer! I like her a lot; actually I know a lot of people who do, but a few who don't and then I feel like shaking my fist at them. haha ;-) She's definitely one of my top-3 Jane Austen heroines.
I hope you find your Mr. Knightley! (Don't we all?)

Thanks so much for the awesome quiz and your quick reply. This really seems to be a fairly accurate quiz as my sister and I were talking the other day about how much I am like Isabella Knightley! My type of guy is a lot like Mr. John Knightley, too. By the way, did I have any runners-up in the quiz? You really should consider making quizzes for the rest of the Jane Austen books!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! :) And thank you. You did have a few different answers, but I think they were all different when they weren't Isabella so I guess you didn't have any runners-up. I've made a quiz for Pride and Prejudice, which you possibly already knew, but if you didn't it can be found on the sidebar. Also the Jane Austen heroines in general. :) Perhaps I will make another quiz sometime soon! Thinking them up can be quite tricky though.
Thanks so much for your comment!

Wow...you sure comment back fast. Just curious, what Jane Austen character are you?
ReplyDelete~Kristalyn
Kristalyn,
ReplyDeleteHaha, so do you. ;)
Do you mean from this particular quiz or Jane Austen heroines in general? If the latter, I'm not really sure. My result from quizzes is generally Marianne Dashwood or Fanny Price, sometimes Elizabeth Bennet. All in different ways. ;)
That is a wide range :)
ReplyDeleteWhat character is you favorite? I am Elinor Dashwood and when I found that out She became one of my favorites :)
~Kristalyn
Kristalyn,
ReplyDeletePinning down a favorite is really hard! I love them all in different ways. I generally say my favorite is Elizabeth, but it's pretty hard to say. I also love Emma, which I know because every time anyone says something critical about her I always have to jump to her defense! ;) It's rather fun having a heroine with faults who changes and learns throughout the story, and the more I know about it the better I can understand her. I greatly admire Fanny Price, and can't bear to have people speak against her, either (as they often do!) and I delight in Marianne and Catherine, especially in the ways I identify with them. ;)

Miss Elliot,
ReplyDeleteYour answers wound up as a tie for Isabella, Mrs. Weston and Jane Fairfax. Heh... sorry, that's all I got. ;)
Yes, Christina Cole did play Blanche in that version and Mrs. Elton in the 2009 Emma. She's really good at being obnoxious but I've also seen her as a sweet character and she pulled that off too! Brilliant actress! :)
